We figured out how to make these after watching Top Chef one night.

Ingredients
For bananas:- 3-4 ripe bananas, sliced in half
- 4 Tbsp of red chili paste per portion
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 can beer
- 3 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp honey for serving
Preparation
Brush sliced banana halves with chili paste and sandwich 2 together. Stick with toothpick so they will not fall apart when dipped in batter. Place in freezer until super chilled. For fritter batter, combine eggs and beer. Combine all dry ingredients. Fold dry into wet.Once the bananas are chilled, dip in the fritter batter and let the excess batter drip off and then fry at 350 degrees until golden brown. Drain on paper towel and remove toothpick, then dust with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place banana fritters on plate and drizzle with honey. Serve immediately.
